The Atlanta Falcons are coming to Model High School to provide a special football clinic for moms of the community on Thursday, April 16 at 7 p.m.

The Falcons Moms Football Safety Clinic is designed to provide helpful information to moms who have children considering or playing tackle football. The safety clinic for area moms will include classroom instruction and on-field drills to help moms be a part of providing a safe environment for their children playing football.

The informative and action packed two-hour session is free. The clinic will include instruction on proper equipment fitting, concussion awareness, and the Heads-Up tackling technique. The session includes on-field drills so moms are encouraged to dress in active wear (i.e. tennis shoes and athletic apparel).

Interested moms may get more information or register at atlantafalcons.com/momsclinics. The clinic is open to any mom in the area with a child considering or playing tackle football at any level. Space is limited for this event so mothers interested are encouraged to sign-up on the Falcons website today. You must register to participate. The event is sponsored by the Atlanta Falcons Youth Foundation. Read more…
