Steve Szarmach is New Fluvanna County HS Head Football Coach
Meet another new head coach. These are the men leading and teaching our boys the morals and life lessons one gets when playing football. Good luck Coach!
Szarmach previously was the offensive coordinator at both Albemarle and Western Albemarle high schools but he hasn’t coached football for several years. Szarmach was a wide receiver and cornerback at Southern Connecticut State University. He’s had a lot of coaching jobs in football through the years and sayshis passion is coaching and teaching. I think speed and power helps a great deal.
Steve Szarmach is the new head football coach at Fluvanna County HS. He has spent the last seven years as Fluvanna’s head track coach.
Szarmach replaces Jason Barnett at FCHS who stepped down after five seasons with a record of 10-40. Fluvanna had a record of just 1-9 in each of the past two seasons. See more…
